1. Purpose

This policy sets out the terms for returns, exchanges (if offered) and refunds for purchases made on www.chakmarluxe.be. It complements the Terms & Conditions and is specifically designed for luxury goods in order to preserve integrity, value, and traceability.

2. Right of withdrawal (Consumers)

Unless legal exceptions apply, the Consumer may withdraw within 14 calendar days of receipt. The notice must be clear (email or letter). Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer unless otherwise stated or required by law.

3. Returns process (mandatory)

  1. Send a request to info@chakmarluxe.be including: order number, reason, photos if necessary.
  2. Receive instructions: return address, reference number, and packaging guidelines.
  3. Ship with tracking and, for high-value items, appropriate insurance.
  4. Keep proof of shipment until the process is closed.

4. Integrity requirements (luxury) — Cumulative conditions

  • Unused item: only careful try-on to check size/shape is permitted.
  • Complete item: box, dust bag, protections, accessories, documents, any certificates if applicable.
  • No odour and no new marks: perfume, tobacco, makeup, scratches, creases, scuffs.
  • No intervention: cleaning, polishing, recolouring, repairs, fitting accessories.
  • Tags/seals/serial numbers intact where present.

5. Packaging and shipping

The Customer must protect the item against shocks, moisture, and pressure. Any shipping damage resulting from insufficient packaging may be attributed to the Customer. The Seller recommends double-boxing (original box protected inside an outer carton) and insurance suitable for the item’s value.

6. Incoming inspection

Upon receipt, the Seller performs an inspection: completeness, condition, compliance, and reference matching. In case of suspected substitution or forgery, the Seller may refuse the return, retain evidence, and cooperate with authorities if necessary.

7. Depreciation and deductions

A depreciation deduction may be applied if the item shows marks attributable to the Customer. The deduction is proportionate to the loss of value and the inability to resell the item as-is.

8. Refund

The refund is issued to the original payment method after inspection. The Seller may withhold the refund until the goods are received or until proof of shipment is provided.

9. Non-eligible returns

Returns may be excluded under the law, notably for customised goods. Where applicable, the Seller will indicate such exclusions prior to purchase.
